Bio-dataDr. Anjan Kumar is working as an Asst. Professor in Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Berhampur, Odisha. He has completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from Berhampur University in 2000 with first class and distinction. After that he worked as a professional representative for Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited till 2004. In 2006, he was awarded with Degree of Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Biju Pattnaik University of Technology, Rourkela. For a period of 1 year from March 2005 to March 2006 he completed his project work in Analytical research and development, a unit of ISP Honkong Limited at Hyderabad. In April 2006 he joined in Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Berhampur as a lecturer. In Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences he carried out research on synthesis and biological evaluation of some heterocyclic compounds under the joint supervision of Prof. Candrasekhar Pand and Prof. M.B.V Raju and awarded Doctor of Philosophy in pharmacy in 2012 from Berhampur University. He has published many research articles in various national and international journals and has presented scientific & research papers in national and international conferences. His research work is mainly on synthesis and computer aided drug design of medicinal drugs and its biological studies. He has guided 8 nos of post graduate scholars. He is also an active life member of professional bodies such as Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), and Indian Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and Technologists (IAPST), India
