Bio-dataMr. Suman Kumar Mekap is Asst. Professor in Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacology at Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Berhampur, Odisha. He has completed his Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy from Utkal University in 2006. He was awarded with Degree of Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in the year 2008. In the same year he has joined Sri Satya Sai University of Technology & Medical Sciences, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh as an Assistant Professor. In the year 2013 he Joined as a Project Fellow in UGC funded Major Research Project entitled Identification and Evaluation of Some Promising Anti-Diabetic Plants from Tribal-Rich Pockets of Orissa. under Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. In 2016 he was Joined as a Junior Research Fellow in State Environment and Forest Department funded Major Research Project entitled Phytochemical investigation and biological evaluation of Hydrolea zeylanica Under Regional Plant Resource Centre, Bhubaneswar. During his academic and research tenure He has published many research articles in various journals of national and international repute and has presented scientific & research papers in national and international conferences. His research work is mainly focused on Phytochemical, Antidiabetic and Antioxidant Evaluation of Indigenous Weeds and Plants. He has already guided 6 P.G. and 21 U.G. students in their dissertation work.
