M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance was introduced in the year 2001. The course has an objective of sustainable research and high quality teaching. The department provides industrial and institutional training to its PG students and organizes workshops from time to time to upgrade the knowledge pool of faculties and students. Faculties and researchers of this department has brought many laurels to RIPS by winning awards and prizes for Best Research Paper and Best Poster Presentation in various national and International platform. The department has a research focus on:

The department has a research focus on: -
• Analytical method development for drugs and drug products
• Impurity profiling
• Bioanalytical method development
• UV and FTIR spectroscopy based investigation of drug products
• DSC based purity assessment of pharmaceuticals

To cater the research requirements we have one HPLC-UV, one UFLC-PDA, FTIR and UV Visible spectrophotometers and HPLC grade water purification system and, other associated apparatus and instruments.

Eligibility Details

Note Pharm. The selection is done through GPAT/PGAT Test (Post Graduation Admission Test) followed by counseling by OJEE.
